DRIVER REQ:
Age 5-7 only
FUEL:
Spec gas and oil for Yamahas and Comers; Methanol for Briggs Raptors
ENGINES:
*Comer K-80 (only acceptable Comer)
*Yamaha KT-100. Only heads with OEM casting “Yamaha” and cylinders with
Y3, Y4, and 787 are legal
*Briggs Raptor (5 hp) with 0.425” (purple) restrictor place on intake
CARBURETOR: Comer K-80 – stock
Yamaha – Walbro WA55B
Briggs – stock
EXHAUST:
Comer K-80 – stock
Yamaha – RLV SSX-V#7548
Briggs – must run RLV exhaust silencer
WEIGHT: Open
TIRES:
Front and rear tires 4.5-4.6x10-5. Competitors may use compounds from
Dunlop, Bridgestone, Maxie, or MG.
GEAR RATIO:Open
Chain drives only.
CLUTCH: Comer K-80 – stock
Yamaha – engine or axle clutch is permitted
Briggs – any affixed engine clutch is permitted
CHASSIS:
CIK Homologated chasses or any sprint enduro chassis is acceptable. The
following dimensions must be met:
*CIK chassis: max. length – 72”, wheelbase between 35”-41”.
*Sprint enduro chassis: max. length – 72”, wheelbase between 40” and 43”.
BODYWORK: CIK style bodywork
G-Man Cadet bodywork (ABS plastic only)
All bodywork rules as published in the latest WKA Technical Manual apply. Thus, all CIK body work rules will be enforced to karts running CIK bodywork and all road racing sprint bodywork rules will apply to all karts running G-Man style bodywork.
ENGINE TECH: Please note that all engine rules will apply to this class as per WKA
Technical Manual. Rules and procedure will be enforced in post race tech as published for the Comer K-80 engine, the Yamaha KT-100 engine, and the Briggs Raptor engine.
